The activities of the Excellence in Education Committee are financed through the generosity of local businesses, individuals, civic organizations and school parent groups. No public funds are used. Donations are tax-deductible.

In 1999, private donations were supplemented by the income from the first Invitational Golf Tournament. The sold out tournament was an enormous success and is now an annual fundraising event.
